Hello. "başlık ile alakasız resim" -> "irrelevant to the title picture". That's a wrong translate. İt's correct ==> The picture irrelevant with title. Yes, that's right. Because, ekonomi (economy) title is about economy and finance not company headquarters. Moreover, in a short title can not put the two images. This artcile SMA (FAC). Please check it. Thank you.

Tenerife accident

I reverted this edit because it is not realistic to expect for all external links about this accident to be in Turkish. The investigation report is an important part of this subject, and it is non-existent in Turkish. The report is in Spanish and English only, and the Dutch comments are in Dutch and English only.

For that matter, the report on the 1974 Turkish Airlines crash in Ermenonville, France is not available in Turkish, so the French original and the English translation are both linked, with French being the original but English being more accessible to a Turkish audience. Istanbul Japanese School

Hi! For some reason ping doesn't seem to work, so I'll use this talk page.

I wonder if the way to go is to look for Japanese sources. I found one article that talks a little bit about the school:

On ja:Wikipedia:Help_for_Non-Japanese_Speakers#Question_about_book_.E3.82.A4.E3.82.B9.E3.82.BF.E3.83.B3.E3.83.96-.E3.83.AB.E6.97.A5.E6.9C.AC.E4.BA.BA.E5.AD.A6.E6.A0.A1 I inquired about a book written in Japanese about the school. If it's independent and reliable it would definitely prove notability.

Also, I wonder if anybody has access to Turkish academic databases that are not available on the regular internet that may contain research about the school. I don't know to read Japanese and I actually don't trust Google Translate or any other translation programs :) So I can't say that if it is an independent source or even that source is about the school. If it is, I don't think that one source is enough to make an article notable. If there would be any article or anything about the school in Turkish academic databases, we could have found in on Google search. Le Stamboul

Me and colleague is now looking at the articles you have left here. Thank you for the suggestions. I just wanted to drop a line about en:Le Stamboul. I've found out that : It was first published on August 16, 1875 and with the help of French embassy it was published until 1964! I found the information online on this thesis. In Turkish wikiepdia, the grandson of Kamil Tolon who cerated a username as User:Kamil Tolon had created an article about his grandfather. Actually, Kamil Tolon is not a very well known or remembered businessman/person by the general public today but now, he is well known by many Turkish wikipedians because there was a lot of discussion about this article in Turkish Wikipedia when Kamil Tolon article was first created with unsufficient sources. However, at the moment I see that the articles has good sources. Kuter's book about Kamil Tolon was published by Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Altun's book on popular history has a chapter on Kamil Tolon and the news articles at Milliyet, Hürriyet, Sabah, Ekohaber newspapers are about Kamil Tolon's life and work. Unfortounately that the user is banned from Turkish Wikipedia as well as user:Yigitcank because he is considered a sock-puppet. Hi! I've checked the draft at en:Draft:Ali AL-Suleiman. From the first look i can tell that many of those citations can not be reference to a Wikipedia article. Some of them are being forwarded to the same page, some of them include a copy-pasted text in minor local news sites that publish such texts for getting traffic; some are not about Ali Al-Suleiman but written by him (such as this one which is an article about en:Battle of Ain Jalut), many of the references are about a television drama series which he has translated some of its episodes to Arabic. I see that this is a young person at the begining of his career and willing to increase his presence on internet by having a wikipedia article about himself. However for the English sources, IMDB is not appropriate as a source to cite on ENWIKI (en:Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Perennial_sources#IMDB). Next: I do not know much about biografya.com (how or why it is put together) so I don't know whether that site is a reliable source. videodetective.com (Video Detective LLC) seems to be a directory and I do not believe it would count as a reliable source. Lastly thefamousbirthdays.com seems to be a personal website and I don't believe it would count as a reliable source. I see there were many attempts to create a Wikipedia page on this person at Turkish wiki (under names such as "Ali Al Suleyman", "Ali Al Suleiman") but each time diferent tr.wiki editors deleted them, because this topic does not meet the notability criteria. I am sorry, but having some pages being at the Google search pages does not mean the subject meets the notability criteria of Wikipedia. Those news sites such as timeturk.com, haberglobal.com, etc. could be accepted as a reference for a Wikipedia article only if there were any news about this person or any interviews with him. However those pages listed here is just copy-paste of a text on web sites such as kimkimdir.net.tr where everyone can create a biography page about herself for free. The source of the information on the links are kimkimdir, biyogafya.com or some self-made pages. I understand that Ali Al Sulieman was in the "Payitaht: Abdülhamid" crew and his names appears on the web pages where full crew of the program is being displayed. My question was whether the Turkish language sources posted by User:Turki bin Faisal complied with notability rules (are they newspaper articles from respected publications about the subject, that are independent of the subject?). @Turki bin Faisal in addition to the en:Wikipedia:Notability#General_notability_guideline the other way is through en:Wikipedia:Notability_(people)#Entertainers but the latter requires that he have "significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions."

Please do not message me every day about this. I understand its important for you, but I have a life outside of this request. I need time to work on my own projects. You may need to have patience over this, and if this guy does not meet notability standards you may need to wait until he does.

User:Basak Thank you for checking! I'll look at the first two. In regards to the master's thesis, the nominator argued that a master's thesis shouldn't count as a reliable source. I'll see if academic books cited that thesis: there was a case where I used a master's thesis as a source about a Japanese school in Mexico, but that is because an academic book cited that thesis, giving credibility to it.
