1994 Formula 1 sezonu, motor sporlarının yönetici organizasyonu Uluslararası Motorsporları Federasyonu tarafından en üst seviye açık tekerlekli tek koltuklu yarış serisi olarak tanınan Formula 1 Dünya Şampiyonası'nın 54. sezonu.

1994 sezonu Benetton ve Michael Schumacher'in hakimiyetinde sonuçlanmıştır. Formula 1 tarihinin en trajik sezonlarından birisidir. Sezonun 3. yarışı olan San Marino Grand Prix'te Cumartesi günü sıralama turlarında Avusturyalı pilot Roland Ratzenberger Villeneuve virajında 314 km/h hızla beton bariyerlere çarpmış ve kaza sonucu ölmüştür. Pazar günü yarışta ise Williams'ın efsanevi pilotu Ayrton Senna 7. turda Tamburello virajına girerken direksiyonunu döndürememiş 310 km/h hızda iken pistten çıkmış hızını 218 km/h e kadar düşürmüş ve beton bariyerlere çarparak durabilmiştir. Kaza sonrası ağır yaralanan Senna helikopter ile hastaneye götürülürken ölmüştür. Bu iki pilotun trajik kaza sonucu hayatını kaybettiği sezonda yetenekli genç pilot Michael Schumacher kariyerinin ilk şampiyonluğunu kazanmıştır. 1994 aynı zamanda değişiklikleriyle de Formula 1'in en önemli tarihlerinden biridir.

1994 sezonu FIA aldığı kararlarda sezonun kötü geçmesine sebep olmuştur. Sürücü becerilerini geliştirmek için motor hacmi 3.5 litreye düşürülürken; Çekiş Kontrol, Aktif süspansiyon, Kalkış Kontrolü ve ABS fren sistemi kullanımı yasaklanmıştır.

Bunun yanı sıra elektronik sistemler ilk kez bu yıl kullanılmaya başlanmıştır.
