Merhaba! Both Rossini and the librettist (Salsa) were not aware of Shakespeare's play. But Verdi's opera was based on the Shakespeare's play, Othello. :) — Hamid Hassani (mesaj) 04.39, 20 Ağustos 2018 (UTC)
