Nüfusun politik temizliği belli kategoriye giren insanların politik nedenlerle ortadan kaldırılmasıdır. Araçlar zorunlu göçten politikırıma kadar uzanabilir.

Politikırım değiştir

Politikırım bir siyasi harekete mensup insanların kasıtlı fiziksel imhası veya yok edilmesidir. Bu, bir tür siyasi baskıdır. Zorunlu göç de bir tür politikırım olarak tanımlanır. Bu, hedefin siyasi veya etnik bir gruba dahil olmak bakımından soykırım ve etnik temizlikle kıyaslanabilir.^[1]
