Amperozid
Amperozid, 5-HT2A reseptöründe bir antagonist olarak işlev gören difenilbütilpiperazin sınıfından atipik bir antipsikotikidir.[1] Çoğu antipsikotik ilaçta olduğu gibi dopamin reseptörlerini bloke etmez,[2] ancak dopamin salınımını inhibe eder[3][4] ve dopaminerjik nöronların ateşleme düzenini değiştirir.[5] İnsanlarda şizofreni tedavisi için araştırılmış,[6] ancak hiçbir zaman klinik olarak benimsenmemiştir. Bunun yerine başlıca kullanımı, veteriner tıpta evcil domuzlarda saldırganlığı ve stresi azaltmak ve böylece beslenmeyi ve üretkenliği artırmaktır.[7][8][9]
