Aren't recent queries saved in memory for optimization purposes in the MediaWiki database like they are in Oracle?. Is there a SQL cache for accessing the queries ? --İnfoCan^► 22:24, 4 Ocak 2009 (UTC)

I think they are in MySQL as well, but the databases on Toolserver are replicated copies of the servers from Wikimedia Foundation, and not the same SQL-servers. Can't find something in memory of servers I don't have access to... Laaknor 07:05, 5 Ocak 2009 (UTC)

• Hello Laaknor. Would you be able re-run your query with a modification? Could you please filter out all pages about BC years (like en:254 BC) and all articles about decades (like en:1250s, or en:210s BC). Also could you include in the output the number of interwikis for each article. Such a list would be very useful for determining articles to prioritize for the Turkish Wikipedia. --İnfoCan^► 15:03, 6 Ocak 2009 (UTC)

I'll re-run it in a couple of days (Toolserver database for enwiki is a little foobar right now.). Need to test a little bit on how to exclude the years (Will probably exclude articles that has BC in their names or consist of more than 4 number). You can however look at how many interwikis there are on an article on Kullanıcı:Khutuck/List/RawOutput. Laaknor 18:43, 6 Ocak 2009 (UTC)

It takes some time with testing here (the query takes at least 6 hours to complete everytime I test it on enwiki, and while it works great on other wikis, I get a problem every time I go to enwiki). I noticed that you query excludes 5 and 4 character long article titles ending with s. This includes article names such as en:ficus or en:chaos. To exclude only articles like en:90s, en:220s BC, or en:1950s, are you able to run something like

and page_title not REGEXP '^[0-9](1,3)0s'

There's the command I'm looking for! :P I've been doing alot of diffrent commands, but most of them have failed.

I've added this command to my "update lists on many wikis"-script, so I'll probably run it with a couple of weeks in between. I would suggest that you remove the articles that are created from this list, so you know for yourself what has been done.
