Oyuncu David Troughton'un oğlu ve Doctor Who'da rol alan Patrick Troughton'un torunudur.[2] Küçük erkek kardeşleri eski Warwickshire kriket oyuncusu Jim Troughton ve aktör William Troughton'dur.[3]
