Açıklama
English: File photo shows Adolf Hitler (left), the dictator of Nazi-Germany, talking privately to C. G. E Mannerheim (right), commander of Finland's forces in World War II during a six-hours visit in Kaukopää (not Immola) on the occasion of his Finnish ally's 75th birthday 04 June, 1942. The microphones that secretly taped their private conversation were placed just outside the picture above Mannerheim's head. To Hitler's left is Finnish prime minister Jukka Rangell, while the Nordic country's president Risto Ryti has his back towards the camera. The birthday celebration was held in a train due to security reasons. The tape is a treasure trove for actors rendering the intimate side of the Nazi dictator. It was for instance recently used by actor Bruno Ganz, who has won praise for his portrayal of Hitler in the newly released German movie "The Downfall".
Suomi: Kuvassa näkyy Adolf Hitler (vasemmalla), Natsi-Saksan diktaattori, keskustelemassa yksityisesti C. G. E. Mannerheimin (oikealla), Suomen toisen maailmansodan aikaisten joukkojen komentajan kanssa kuusi tuntia kestäneen vierailun Kaukopäähän (ei Immolaan) aikana juhlistaakseen suomalaisen aseveljensä 75. syntymäpäivää 4. kesäkuuta 1942. Mikrofonit joilla keskustelu äänitettiin salaa oli asetettu juuri kuvan ulkopuolelle Mannerheimin pään yläpuolelle. Hitlerin vasemmalla puolella on Suomen pääministeri Jukka Rangell, kun taas Suomen presidentti Risto Ryti istuu selin kameraan. Syntymäpäiväjuhlat pidettiin junassa turvallisuussyistä. Äänite on varsinainen runsaudensarvi näyttelijöille jotka haluavat tutustua Natsi-Saksan diktaattorin intiimiin puoleen. Sitä käytti esimerkiksi näyttelijä Bruno Ganz, joka sai osakseen kiitosta roolistaan Hitlerinä saksalaisessa elokuvassa "Perikato".

Public domain
This photograph is in the public domain in Finland, because either a period of 50 years has elapsed from the year of creation or the photograph was first published before 1966. The section 49a of the Finnish Copyright Act (404/1961, amended 607/2015) specifies that photographs not considered to be "works of art" become public domain 50 years after they were created. The 50 years from creation protection period came into force in 1991. Before that the protection period was 25 years from the year of first publication according to the §16 of the law of protection of photographs of 1961. Material already released to public domain according to the 1961 law remains in public domain, and therefore all photographs (but not photographic works of art) released before 1966 are in the public domain. See Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Finland for details.
