As part of ongoing efforts to improve the fitness and preparedness levels of the IDF, the Chief of the General Staff, Lt. Gen. Benny Gantz, conducted a surprise visit to training bases in order to check the infantry corps' training courses. Visits were simultaneously conducted in five different IDF infantry training bases.
