I. Thutmose

I. Thutmose (Thothmes, Thutmosis veya Tuthmosis de denir, anlamı; Thoth'dan doğan) Antik Mısır'ın 18. Hanedanı'nın üçüncü Firavunu idi. Bir önceki firavun I. Amenhotep'in ölümünden sonra tahta geçmiştir. I. Thutmose kendinden önceki firavunlardan daha fazla Mısır sınırları genişletme çabasına girmiş, Levant ve Nubia derinliklerine ilerlemiştir. Ayrıca Mısır'da pek çok tapınak inşa ettirmiş ve Krallar Vadisi'nde kendisi için bir mezar yaptırmıştır. Kendinden sonra yerine oğlu II. Thutmose geçmiştir. Saltanatı genellikle MÖ 1506 - MÖ 1493 yılları arasına tarihlenir ancak bazı tarihçilere göre ise saltanatı MÖ 1526 - MÖ 1513 yılları arasındadır.^[1]^[2]
