|Crashed shortly after takeoff. The aircraft was carrying three Klimov M-105 engines. During takeoff one of the engines broke loose, breaking through the cabin floor and trapping the control cable of the horizontal stabilizer which ran under the floor. The pilot tried to steer the aircraft with the stabilizer trim tabs, but the aircraft did not respond. The aircraft crashed in the steppe some {{convert|7|km|mi|abbr=on}} from takeoff and burned out. The aircraft was operating a Balachov-Kursk cargo service.
