2018-08-08 a vandal attacked the article [[USB-C]] on several Wikipedias. Most Wikipedias have completed the reversion of the edits.

Among the '''Latin-script Wikipedias''' 12 use "USB-C" and 3 use USB Type-C. Of the three one does so due to the vandalism (lv) and only one(! tr) uses "USB Type-C" without any interference by the vandal. In frwiki the vandal sabotaged a rename-proposal by inserting fake information.

In trwiki the vandal from frwiki (Niridya) made a trap to admins asking to delete the page and [[User:Vikiçizer]] deleted [[Tartışma:USB Type-C]]. But there was no vandalism on the talk page, except by the frwiki-user Niridya himself. The vandal also tried talk page deletion on other wikis:

:Sayfa geri getirildi. Bunların kendi aralarındaki gereksiz meselelerle burayı da meşgul etmeleri söz konusu. O tartışma sayfası gereksiz dış bağlantısı deposu olduğundan yine silinmelidir, vandalizmin olması olmaması önemli değildir. Ben yine de silme gerekçesini değiştirip yine silmeden önce diğer hizmetliler de bakmak isterse baksın diye geri getirdim.
