Sydney Nettleton Fisher
Amerikalı Orta Doğu tarihçisi
Sydney Nettleton Fisher (8 Ağustos 1906 - 10 Aralık 1987), Amerikalı Orta Doğu tarihçisi.[1]
Hayatı değiştir
Fisher, Warsaw, New York'ta doğdu. Oberlin Koleji'nde okudu, 1928'de ekonomi derecesi ve 1932'de tarih alanında yüksek lisans derecesi aldı. Tarih doktorasını 1935'te Illinois Üniversitesi'nden aldı. İstanbul Robert Kolej'de matematik öğretmenliği yaptıktan sonra 1937'de Ohio State Üniversitesi Tarih Fakültesi'ne girdi. 1955'te profesörlük unvanını aldı ve 1972'de emekli oldu.[2]
